By disrupting the traditional supply chain, where most florists operate offline and have done for decades. bloomon creates seasonal collections using unusual stems to deliver unique flower arrangements on repeat. We always use field-fresh high-quality flowers straight from the grower and deliver to our customers through a high-tech and highly creative platform. Our e-commerce company launched in Amsterdam in 2014 and went from start-up to scale-up at hypersonic speed, raising €25m funding from well-known national and international VC funds, including Fortino Capital, INKEF and Partech. Our success has not gone unnoticed, as bloomon was the runner-up in the 2017 Tech5 Awards, and was mentioned in the WIRED list of Europe’s hottest startups of 2016. We drive the growth of bloomon within six countries and its expansion within Europe. How? By finding new and smarter ways to grow our customer base at speed. From thinking up ways to make our sales channels better, quicker and easier – and piloting exciting initiatives from ideation to execution. Think: national partnerships, magazine collaborations, inspiring workshops, pop-up shops, fairs, markets and store collaborations. And working with other cool brands to raise our visibility. We combine our creative and business-savvy skills to tap into millions of potential customers each year. And cherish the freedom and responsibility our team has to push the boundaries of what (we think) is possible as we evolve our market. Our young team also interacts with – and soaks up knowledge from – all departments: from production and PR to operations and CRM. And puts lessons learnt into improving and optimizing every day. Why? What will you do?
Exciting times ahead, bloomon is going to France! That’s why we are looking for an intern who can take a leading role and assist our Managing Director France in rolling out our business in France. As the second member of the French team, you will shape the way we sell and deliver our beautiful bouquets to customers. You will be mainly responsible for setting up new initiatives to acquire customers, but you will also be involved in projects centered around logistics, customer service, and IT.
You will divide your time between Amsterdam (to work closely with Headquarters) and Paris (to be on the field for sales events).
