High-tech versus highly creative, our data-driven e-commerce company launched in Amsterdam in 2014 – and went from start-up to scale-up at hypersonic speed. HR at bloomon

We leave no leaf unturned as we develop and roll out global and local strategies to cherry-pick top talent with backgrounds in business, IT, design, and floral expertise. It’s our job to build high-performance teams by working across all departments to help them find ‘the ones’. We welcome new recruits as they start their journey with us. We drive their happiness and personal growth along the way as trusted points-of-contact. We coach managers on how to get the best out of their team. And also shape and optimise the great company culture and working conditions of our fast-growing scale-up. 100+ employees from 18+ nationalities and counting.

What will you do?

As a HR trainee, you are the right hand of our recruiter and Head of HR. You will get a lot of responsibilities, where a proactive attitude towards making improvement is greatly appreciated. Your ultimate goal is to attract top talent for bloomon and to contribute to a super happy team!

Your responsibilities:

  • Active search for new talent and screening job applicants; 
  • Conducting interviews;
  • Contact person for external recruitment partners and initiatives;
  • Keeping the bloomon career page up to date;
  • Maintain external recruitment channels, such as LinkedIn and;
  • Supporting administrative activities such as contract management, default registration and preparation salary round;
  • Onboarding of new team members;
  • Think about the further development of our Employer Brand;
  • Help in organizing team events and recruitment events!


What do we expect from you?

  • MSc or BSc student (preferably with a background in HR, Communications or Psychology);
  • Accurate and a definite ‘can do’ attitude;
  • Fluent in Dutch and a good knowledge of English;
  • Structured approach to work;
  • Outgoing and service oriented;
  • Proactive, enthusiast and a people person;
  • 5 - 6 months available.
