We are bloomon! We turn the traditional flower industry on its head with a unique style, ultra fresh flowers, delivered directly from our growers to our customers. The flower sector is huge with over €50 billion in annual turnover but 99% of the sector still operates offline. bloomon is driving the shift to online and is building the first global love brand in the luxury segment. Our company and team are expanding rapidly. With an international team of over 80 highly motivated and ambitious people, we are active in five countries. bloomon has its main office in Amsterdam, but also operates out of Berlin, London and Taiwan. The bloomon team consists of seasoned e-commerce experts (Rocket Internet) as well as strategy-consultants (The Boston Consulting Group, McKinsey, SparkOptimus), and has raised funding from renowned VCs as well as international entrepreneurs.

Job description
We are looking for an intern that can take a leading role in further developing our business within the Growth team. You will have a unique chance to take ownership and carry responsibility for driving new ways to acquire customers, as well as improve our existing acquisition methods across different countries. Example projects would be: 

  • Enhancing our existing international referral program
  • Defining and rolling out acquisition channel best practices 
  • Streamlining the way we work and report to ensure we focus on what we do best: acquiring happy customers


During this internship you will be based in Amsterdam and work closely together with our VP of Growth. We offer a unique opportunity to truly develop your entrepreneurial skills and learn how to further scale a successful startup. 

Requirements

  • MSc or BSc recent graduate (or ending face)
  • Preferably had a successful internship at a top-tier strategy consultancy 
  • Fast learner
  • Analytical and numbers driven
  • Pro-active and ‘can do’ attitude
  • Enjoy responsibility, work independently but you are also a good team player
  • Passion for startups and ecommerce
  • Available on short notice for 3-6 months
