The flower sector is huge with over €50 billion in annual turnover but 99% of the sector still operates offline. bloomon is driving the shift to online and is building the first global love brand in the luxury segment. Our company and team are expanding rapidly. With an international team of over 80 highly motivated and ambitious people, we are active in five countries. bloomon has its main office in Amsterdam, but also operates out of Berlin, London and Taiwan. The bloomon team consists of seasoned e-commerce experts (ex-Rocket Internet) as well as strategy-consultants (The Boston Consulting Group, McKinsey, SparkOptimus), and has raised funding from renowned VCs as well as international entrepreneurs.

We are looking for a Customer Analytics & Systems Intern who will be taking our customer service, customer communications and customer data collection infrastructure to the next level. You’ll be joining our Customer Relations Management (CRM) department.

You will be responsible for:

  • Analysing  of all our customer service infrastructure and developing projects for improving it from a technical perspective
  • Improve data and feedback collection from our customer base
  • Leveraging customer feedback via data analysis for bloomon’s campaigns
  • Turn feedback from our customer support team into concrete company improvements (e.g. new requirements for website functionality, suggestions for our operations etc…)
  • Assist with daily operations that keep our CRM infrastructure running
  • Automating all repetitive tasks or replacing them with smarter processes through coding, new software or any other creative solutions
  • Help customer service agents with any technical questions that they might have on bloomon’s systems


  • You are at the last stage in an University level study, preferably with a technical background (Engineering, Science, etc.)
  • Programming knowledge of Javascript/Python is a must  (Extra credit for Node.js, and other languages like  C++, Java or similar)
  • Good command of Excel
  • Know or can quickly learn MySQL (knowledge of R or other statistical processing languages appreciated)
  • You are independent, hardworking and available to help out our team of over 60 people with all their questions
  • You’ll channel your inner geek while keeping it social, we do the technical side of customer relations, it’s all about people in the end
