We are bloomon! We turn the traditional flower industry on its head with a unique style, ultra fresh flowers, delivered directly from our growers to our customers. The flower sector is huge with over €50 billion in annual turnover but 99% of the sector still operates offline. bloomon is driving the shift to online and is building the first global love brand in the luxury segment. To do this we need your, a rebel like us, to grow the family!

Our company and team are expanding rapidly. With an international team of over 80 highly motivated and ambitious people we are active in five countries. bloomon has its main office in Amsterdam, but also operates out of Berlin, London and Taiwan.


The bloomon brand team is the centre of rebellion. We always strive for the highest quality and the strongest impact of every single piece we deliver. We're looking for someone who can take high-level concepts and strategy decisions and run with them – giving a campaign, idea, or concept their own flavour and taking it live.

 

As Copy & Content Creative, you will be a strong support for our brand and communications team. You are responsible to develop and execute surprisingly creative, high-quality storytelling and brand concepts that leave a lasting impression on all the happy bloomon customers and friends. Your ultimate goal is to spread the happiness of our brand.

  • You live and breathe copy.  You are confident with words. You will take ideas and make them real following our brand principles, translating concept and campaign directives into 360-degree campaigns with the rest of the creative team. You will also be responsible for executing requests from our commercial or CRM teams, challenge them, and turn them into engaging work 
  • You love to develop stories, write copy yourself, and hit the right tone of voice in all our communications. You have a feeling for aesthetics and get energized by the chance to help build a global brand. You will be working closely together with fellow creatives, providing support and feedback to our network of copywriters and freelancers

Requirements

  • Native English speaker – or confident enough to be witty, clever, and funny with ease (try us!)
  • Copywriting and storytelling experience for lifestyle brands, both digital and commercial
  • Strong conceptual thinker with a feeling for process: How will you bring ideas to life using company-wide teams and channels?
  • 2-4 years working experience, preferably with lifestyle, fashion, or interiors experience
  • Education level: BA/MA/BSc/MSc
  • A strong portfolio of copy and storytelling
  • Ability to follow brand directives to commercial execution
  • Affinity with offline and online marketing
  • High-quality standard with a great eye for detail
  • Work in a fast-paced environment, with tight deadlines
  • Pro-active and definite ‘can do’ attitude
  • Open to receiving feedback and eager to develop into a more senior role in the future
  • An overly-enthusiastic approach that fuels the team spirit
  • We appreciate graphic design experience, but please note this role has a copy-first mentality
